How can I enroll my child in the program?

Applications for Before & After School Care are available at our East Freehold facility year round.

If you’d like more information about registration and monthly tuition, you can call the After School Care Office at (732) 462-0464 ext. 155.

Who supervises the children in the program?

The programs are supervised by certified teachers or qualified staff and teaching assistants who meet New Jersey State licensing requirements.  In addition, field coordinators oversee all aspects of the programs and report directly to our YMCA directors.

Why is the Before & After School Care Program so important for parents/guardians who work or go to school?

Our programs provide a “home away from home” environment where the children can unwind from the structured school day, socialize, have a snack, do their homework and participate in wholesome group activities.

Does the Before & After School program provide recreational and educational activities?

Yes. The programs provide activities which include Arts & Humanities, Health & Fitness Awareness, Literacy, Science Technology, Social Competence and Conflict Resolution.

Why should parents/guardians choose the YMCA Before & After School Program instead of some other school age child care program?

The YMCA of Western Monmouth County Before & After School Care Program has run successfully for over 23 years. Here we recognize that your children are a part of our community, and our mission is to help them to develop to their fullest in spirit, mind and body by incorporating the core values of caring, respect, honesty and responsibility in our  curriculum.

TUITION:
